About Our Event Planner Mae Johnson, a certified Event Planner and Set Designer began her career as a set designer/display Artist and then expanded into wedding and event planning. She understands the importance of organization, and how it's the key to success of any event. Her goal is to make every bride's day a unique and special one and her enthusiasm shows in all that she does. She has double BA degrees from the University of Florida and University of South Florida, with cognates in: Economic, Fine Arts, and Education. She has also earned many certificates in the field of visual art. Mae's passion for decorating and set design led her to pursue a job as an apprentice with Vera Hutchinson of RKO Studios. Under the auspices of Vera Hutchinson She studied costume and set design, opening doors for new opportunities. Later, she accepted positions as a display artist for various department stores of Ocala Florida. Working side by side with the Marketing Directors, She created many unique sets designs and was approached by numerous family and friends for assistance in staging their homes and creating unique designs for their weddings. Motivated by her job and after being prompted by family, friends and associates. She eventually went to Bridal school to learn the fine points of coordinating weddings and events. She began planning events and gained immeasurable, professional experience as she's managed the events for weddings, churches, civic events and more. She later launched her version of a social gathering company, which is committed to creating moments of harmony and majesty in the lives of our clients.  |
